The Opportunity
This position will support the operational logistics of programs and services that are place-based across the province. Areas of responsibility will include providing operational and logistical support to ensure effective program delivery and teamwork across all departments. This includes developing professional, consistent, and relevant tools and resources that support effective information sharing.
Responsibilities
- Regular communication and follow-up with program staff to respond to questions and concerns and ensure the accuracy of information
- Organization and development of resources and tools that support effective program delivery and operations
- Collecting, collating, and presenting program information
- Maintaining up-to-date records and files that reflect the accuracy and effectiveness of program operations
- Supporting staff and programming with required supplies and equipment
- Coordinating and supporting the logistics of training activities and events
- Providing relevant training to operational functions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and tasks
- Ability to work independently and requires minimal supervision to complete tasks and respond to unanticipated items
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in one one-on-one and group settings
- Ability to demonstrate creative initiative in tool and resource development
- Experience working in a variety of online platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (ex., Publisher, Excel, and Word, Office 365 apps etc.)
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment in the handling of confidential information
- Valid NS Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
