The PM will design and coordinate hiring pipelines, onboarding and training for our early in career and mid-level career hires, and provide general oversight of daily operations for Octoservices. The Engineering Hiring Programs Manager will have the opportunity to design and execute the planning and implementation of these programs focused on hiring and training the best engineers.

Successful candidates must be able to successfully manage priorities against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. This individual will work closely with our talent acquisition business partners as well. They have a reputation for being exceptional at collaboration, organization detail orientation and self-direction. They possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate a sense of urgency and understand the importance of creating and providing an exceptional experience for new and potential Hubbers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in talent management, HR, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage complex and multi-faceted projects/ programs with the ability to see these through completion
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • A curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible
  • Writing skills to engage our future Hubbers
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Experience with high volume and nontraditional hiring
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work proactively
