As a project leader, you help direct resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams.

You organize, manage and control the human, material, financial and IT resources needed to deliver very large-scale, innovative projects involving multiple sectors. You draw on your planning and coordination skills to execute the project plan and serve as point person for the project sponsor, managers and other contributors involved in project delivery. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively manage teams and help the organization achieve its objectives. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field.

You are responsible for strategic projects that are organizationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of work. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields.

You lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external providers.

• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of eight year of relevant experience
