As a Project Manager, you will be part of Oxford’s newly created Finance Transformation Office. The Finance Transformation Office (FTO) is a key enabler to the delivery of the Finance Transformation Strategy and a key partner to the Business Transformation Office in the delivery of Oxford’s 4.0 strategy. Please note this role is a 10 month contract.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and manage project workplan, project RAID logs (Risk, Action, Issues, Decisions) and other project deliverables including timeline and resources to reduce program risks, escalate and resolve issues on a timely basis to meet deadlines
  • Drive the cadence and discipline on completion of project tasks including quality assurance practices (e.g. quarterly reviews, annual scorecard assessment, etc.) consistent with program management industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers, contractors
  • Ensure detailed and accurate project forecasts against budget are in scope
  • Solutioning for continuous improvement of existing and new financial systems within the architecture framework and methodology
  • Responsible for finance project delivery through business process analysis, design and identifies alternative solutions to exploit new technologies through automation and innovation
  • Support finance program delivery through process analysis, design and identifies alternative solutions to exploit new technologies and automation
  • Process finance transformation reengineering through facilitated process mapping sessions to document current environment, develop action plans, lead or facilitate brainstorm sessions to achieve future state

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or relevant discipline and a PMP and / or CPA.
  • 5+ years of progressive project management and project delivery experience within a large, complex organization managing and contributing content to multiple large, cross-functional finance projects. Focus on finance process improvement, SaaS implementation and change management experiences. Ideal candidate will have external consulting experience with a professional services firm.
  • PMLC, SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, PMP experience and qualifications an asset.
  • Experience leading large and medium projects from end-to-end, strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, controls and tools.
  • Experience working in the Commercial Real Estate industry and in leading software implementation and change management project preferred.
  • Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
  • Experience managing implementations and/or upgrades of the Hyperion suite of applications is preferred.
