About the Opportunity

To perform selected basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of selected patients. Any activity or service is carried out under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII education (related psychology/social science courses an asset)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal in a non-aggressive, non-confrontational manner
  • Non Violent Crisis Intervention training or willingness to take within six (6) months of hire
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
  • Successful external applicants are required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) to People Services before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment

  • Permanent Part Time (70%) Position; 52.5 Hours Bi Weekly

Compensation and Incentives

$19.26- $20.02 Hourly
