We are looking for a Quantitative Research Intern to join our team. This is a remote internship role and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quantitative research and analytics to support our clients’ financial and technological needs. The intern will be expected to analyze data, develop models, and provide insights to help our clients make informed decisions.

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop mathematical models to solve complex financial problems, or support the improvement of existing models.
• Write code to implement quantitative methods and develop software tools for the team.
• Conduct quantitative research on market trends, economic data, or other relevant subjects.
• Assist in preparing reports that summarize research findings and analysis.
• Work closely with other team members, including quantitative analysts, data scientists, and traders, to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
• Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or SQL. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data analysis libraries can be beneficial.
• Ability to solve complex problems using mathematical modeling and data analysis.
• Understanding financial concepts, markets, and instruments can be a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex quantitative ideas and research findings to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with large datasets and complex calculations.
