Job description: We currently have a short-term contract / temporary opening for an intelligent, highly-skilled part-time Receptionist in a growing company. This established and recognized company offers a hands-on work environment with fulfilling challenges and is based in the Toronto, Ontario region. Are you a hard worker who can tackle multiple projects at the same time while keeping a smile? Then this Receptionist position is the role for you.
Your responsibilities in this role
– Support other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks
– Create a fantastic first impression for visitors
– Order office and kitchen supplies
– Managing all incoming phone calls
– Use strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency
– Perpetuate a number of different office filing processes and offer general office filing support
– Manage various office files and provide general office filing support
– Arrange, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures
– Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
– Solid understanding of Microsoft Word
– Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
– Incoming phone call management skills desired
– Optimistic, perceptive, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy
– Customer service and office administrative skills
– Great attention to detail
