Job description: We are currently looking for a Regional Finance Manager at our Head Office in Toronto. In this role you will act as the financial partner and strategic advisor to Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Branch Managers, providing tactical and strategic planning and advice. You will be responsible for creating and implementing action plans for profitable growth by collaborating and sharing expertise on pricing, forecasts, budgets, analysis and reporting.

Functions of the Regional Finance Manager include:

Establishes consultative relationship with RVPs, Branch Managers and other Operational leaders to develop and execute plans that increase profitability and improve overall financial results.
Assesses the effectiveness of strategies and best practices and monitors and enforces adherence to approved budgets and forecasts to ensure Sales, GM, SG&A and EBITA targets are achieved.
Manages weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and forecasting. Develops, rolls out and consolidates annual Branch and Regional budget process.
Aligns Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with organizational goals and utilizes tools and reports to effectively monitor and communicate KPI’s.
Remains current on regulatory requirements, economic and business conditions, as well as industry and market trends; researches, analyzes, and forecasts business impact and/or risk; provides sound business advice, recommendations supported with data and facts and ensures timely updates to RVPs, Branch Managers and other business leaders.
Leads regional pricing strategies including client profitability analysis, understanding regulatory and market impact on pricing. Runs price increase programs and manages pricing for client bids utilizing existing and develops new pricing tools.
Leads presentations for Country and Zone reviews with Executive teams.

Regional Finance Manager Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in finance or accounting
Completion of CPA designation required.
A minimum five (5) years related work experience, preferably in a service related industry.
Proficient in PC software packages, including familiarity with MS Access and expert level MS Excel skills.
Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
Knowledge of internal control process and data validation techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal that are clear, concise and action oriented.
Strong Problem-solving ability to gather, assemble, consolidate and analyze facts, draw conclusions and devise solutions.
Effectively and simultaneously manage multiple projects and work assignments that vary in nature and scope while meeting assigned deadlines.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and influence others at various levels across the organization.
Cultivates a shared vision and serves as a catalyst for organizational change, taking action to enhance the speed and organizational ability to adapt, change and create.
