Position Summary
If medical nursing is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible and motivated Registered Nurse; we have a permanent part time (0.46 FTE) opportunity available now at Kelowna General Hospital-Unit 4B.

What will you work on?

The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

This position will work rotating days and nights shifts from 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00 hours.

We are ideally seeking Registered Nurses who have strong acute care experience, exceptional clinical and critical thinking skills and the adaptability and enthusiasm to deliver excellence in patient care within this diverse multidisciplinary unit.

About this location/unit

Unit 4B at the Kelowna General Hospital is a combined Respirology/Oncology/Neurology unit.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
