Position Summary
We currently have a relief part time (0.65 FTE) Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Kelowna General Hospital-Unit 4 East. This relief is until April 30, 2023 or return of the incumbent.

If medical nursing is your passion and you are a reliable, flexible, motivated Registered Nurse and passionate about working in Geriatric Medicine this opportunity is for you!

What will you work on?

The successful candidate will work within a cohesive team and bring enthusiasm, adaptability and exceptional critical thinking skills to this fast-paced 32 bed geriatric medical unit. Previous acute medical experience with the elderly patient population and geriatric behaviours would be considered an asset.

This position will work rotating days, evenings and nights shifts 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
