Position Summary
East Kootenay Regional Hospital currently has a relief part time (0.73 FTE) opportunity on our surgical nursing team. If you are passionate in providing high quality patient centered care and are looking to join a cohesive team, apply today to join us in Cranbrook, B.C. This relief is until September 14, 2022 or return of the incumbent.

This is a 22 bed unit where nurses provide pre and post-operative care. Nursing shifts are rotating 12 hours, 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

**Previous surgical experience would be considered an asset.
