Position Summary
Put your perinatal nursing skills into full motion and join the passionate and welcoming nursing staff at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, in the beautiful community of Salmon Arm.
We are looking for a self-directed, motivated, reliable and flexible Perinatal Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong desire to learn. If you are trained and experienced in Perinatal, we want to hear from you!
We have an active low-risk obstetrical unit and provide antenatal and postpartum care. We have approximately 240 births per year and provide More OB training for our staff. We have 12 hour shifts and have 2 nurses on both days and nights.
This is a relief full time position until September 7, 2022 or return of the incumbent. Shifts are 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00. Days of work are rotating.

Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education & experience.
Current Fetal Health Surveillance.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR) within 2 years.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
