Currently seeking an experienced nanny in Ajax, Ontario

Care for 1 Child – 7 year old

Family is seeking assistance with their 7 year old for approximately of 11 hours per week

Preferred 2 days a week Tuesday& Wednesday ( sometimes Thursdays) (2:00 pm -7:30 pm) and occasional babysitting on weekends. Notice will be given ahead of time.

Details:

Experienced Nanny wanted in Ajax.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, take initiative, have education and/or experience within the childcare field, and be flexible.

Preferred 2 days a week Tuesday& Wednesday ( sometimes Thursdays) (2:00 pm -7:30 pm) and occasional babysitting on weekends. Notice will be given ahead of time.
2:50 pm bus pick up
A car & valid driver’s is required.
Vulnerable sector check & CPR certification is a must
Teacher’s Assistant, ECE background is preferred, or past childcare experience
French Speaking is an asset (but not a requirement per se)
Prepare the child’s lunch (for the next school day)
Prepare dinner for the child
Light housework
Child’s laundry
Bath & Bedtime routine
Take the child to extracurricular activities in the area (if applicable) on the days they are with the family
Help with homework
Teach child responsibility with being independent and washing own dishes, doing bed, etc.
Extra days and weekends may be required.
To apply the candidate must have: Up to date first aid, CPR-C, a Vulnerable sector check ( or willing to obtain), a Drivers License & access to a car is an asset but not required
