In your role, you will:
–
Manage the resource (people) capacity management across the IT portfolio
–
Lead, frame and coordinate initiatives to capture and manage the capacity demand
–
Follow the evolution of the project roadmap to adapt the capacity requirements
–
Support the justification of resources based on project demand
–
Support the optimization of resource utilization across the portfolio
–
Provide reports for management to understand the utilization, needs, and justification for resources
–
Identify, document, and monitor major risks that could impact IT capacity
–
Identify, document, and resolve project/program issues in a timely manner
–
Collaborate with line managers, project managers, and other resource managers
–
Support the initiation of resource hiring, onboarding, and offboarding as per the capacity plan
–
Establish capacity governance and organization
–
Guidance and recommendations on tools, methods, and processes needed
–
Be able to travel occasionally if needed (0-5% of the time)
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
– You have a bachelor degree, or equivalent, in business management, information technology, project management or in a related field of activities
–
You have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in resource capacity planning, including 5-7 years in IT
–
You can work in English, both written and spoken. French is an asset
–
You have a good knowledge of Key Performance Indicators, dashboards and other tools to monitor project performance
–
You appreciate teamwork, show initiative and are able to solve problems efficiently
–
You have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and are a great communicator within all levels of the organization
–
You have experience in leading effective meetings and preparation of executive presentations
–
You can work with a minimum level of supervision and be pro-active with regard to bringing forward solutions
–
You can adapt rapidly to change
–
You possess excellent organizational, analytical and strategic skills
–
You have an advanced knowledge of MS Office and in particular MS-Project, MS-Excel and MS PowerPoint
