We are looking for a quality-focused, face-paced Executive Chef to lead a 150 seat upscale restaurant in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistent, high quality and beautifully plated dishes
  • Hiring, Training and supervision of the kitchen team
  • Kitchen operation and all related culinary decisions
  • Quality, cost control, purchasing, inventory control
  • Organization and kitchen cleanliness
  • Execution of all dining room, private dining and special event service
  • Creation of the daily specials menu and special menus as required
  • Excellent knowledge in Italian and west coast style cooking

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ freestanding restaurant senior management experience.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Serving It Right & FoodSafe Certifications.
