Job description: Roofing / General Labor – $15 – $25/ hr Winnipeg
Are you looking for a job that offers full-time hours during the rest of summer and fall? Do you have “start-to-finishing” roofing experience? Are you a physically active individual who likes working outside and isn’t afraid of heights?
If so, We’d like to hear from you! A local small business s looking for both entry-level and experienced roofers to assist their team for the rest of the season!
Term position (until the snow starts)
Hours: Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – till the job is done (generally 300 sq. ft. a day)
Salary: $15 – $25 an hour (based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities
As a Laborer a normal day would include:
– Meeting team at 7am, then doing to work site
– Hauling scrap, depositing it into bins or trailers
– prepping roof i.e. pulling nails, cleaning out eavestroughs
if experienced:
– laying down underlayment
– some metal work
– passing and nailing shingles
Qualifications
What do you need for this role?
-Access to reliable transportation (site changes day-to-day)
-Tool belt, including: hammer, tape measure, tin snipes, nail puller
-Strong work ethic
-Reliable attendance
-Ability to repeatedly left 50lbs safely
-Ability to work as a team or individual
-Need to be legally able to work in Canada
