Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Sanitarian at our Martensville, SK location. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager this position is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation through the pro-active inspection and thorough cleaning of the Mill and all related system equipment.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning of the product flow systems and equipment

Monitor and report plant conditions

Accurate completion of all documentation

Confined space entry (grain bins, railcars, etc.)

Operates in accordance with all food safety policies and procedures

Operates in accordance with all health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practices

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Ability to work in a processing environment and adverse conditions (confined spaces, heights, hot environments)

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; planning and organizational skills

Physically capable of lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Ability to effectively wear respiratory protection.

Ability to work overtime including evenings and week-ends may be required

Proficiency with computers is an asset
