The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) invites applications from Technological Education teachers for consideration to our Secondary Hiring Pool. The Secondary Hiring Pool is a source with which we draw from when hiring teachers to the Secondary Occasional Teaching roster, or for unfilled Secondary contract teaching vacancies. Inclusion on this list is the next step to potential work as a secondary teacher at the TDSB.

Program areas for Technological Education include Health Care, Hairstyling and Aesthetics, Transportation Technology, Construction Technology, Technological Design, Hospitality Services, Manufacturing Technology, Communications Technology, Computer Technology and Green Industries.

Qualifications:

Candidates in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers are preferred. For those who do not have a teaching degree, in certain circumstances the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in order to meet its programming needs. • Copies of practice teaching reports (faculty students) OR teacher evaluation reports (experienced teachers), or equivalent if applicable
