About the Opportunity
The Secretary II will be a member of the General Medical Unit team responsible for, but not limited to, the provision of secretarial/clerical duties required for the effective and efficient operation of the General Medical Unit on a day-to-day basis. The duties may include, but are not limited to: reception and telephone, booking, computer applications, typing, transcription, program support, project assistance, management support, scheduling, contact with the community in general, taking and transcribing minutes, as well as general office duties.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized office administration / business / secretarial program and/or a combination of education, training and progressively responsible experience required
- Minimum of two years of related secretarial experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook, Teams, and Skype)
- Proficiency in SAP/HRIS preferred
- Payroll entry is an asset
- Experience with meeting and event logistics
- Experience in minute taking is required
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be self-directed and adept at problem-solving, while working with minimal supervision
- Must have strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Incentives
$24.69 – $27.53 Hourly
