Job description: Our large Agriculture client is looking for a Senior (7+ years) Accountant to work on intercompany transactions and operations.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of IFRS is required
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP S4 and Oracle PeopleSoft
- Advanced level Excel skills, BPC knowledge is an asset
- Experience managing intercompany transactions and operations. Which includes, but is not limited to:
- Monitor intercompany approvals
- Process recurring charges
- Generate and review transaction processing error reports
- Post manual entries at month end
- Manage resolution of ERP errors
- Input receivables and payables information to netting/repayment of intercompany transactions
- Validate payment proposal
- Follow up on unpaid balances
- Analyze mismatches
- Experience preparing consolidated intercompany balance sheet account reconciliation and ensure all intercompany variances are resolved
Specialization and Skills: Finance and Accounting PUB – Staff Accountant 5 – 7 years
