Location: Southern Alberta
Duration: Permanent position, benefits available
What will you be doing?
- Provide agronomic services such as soil testing recommendations of crop inputs
- Execute on the organization’s crop input market development plans to include customer field meetings, cooperative product trials, customer agronomy events, marketing support and delivery of crop planning services.
- Plan, manage, and attend farm shows and other marketing functions to build product and brand awareness
- Plan, facilitate, and present at meetings and field days of 10 – 100 attendees throughout the year.
- Lead agronomic troubleshooting for any problems customers may face with our product.
- Providing exceptional customer service while promoting inputs in an honest and professional manner.
- Flexible with time management, travel and able to work extended hours as required.
What will you bring?
- Registered, or eligible to register as an P.Ag (preferred) alternatively; Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (may be considered)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
- Five (5) plus years previous sales experience with a proven track record.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the Canadian grain industry, agricultural production, crop supplements, soil amendments, or farm management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- P.Ag preferred
- CCA Certification
- Certified Crop Advisor designation
- Possess a valid Canadian Driver’s Licence in good standing
