As a Senior Credit Solutions Manager, you will:
- Contribute to the proactive acquisition of new clients by understanding clients’ needs and asking for business/referrals
- Deepen client relationships by understanding clients’ businesses, providing proactive advice and solutions, being a client champion, leveraging partners and promoting cross sell
- Make it easy to do business by minimizing touch points to provide fast turnaround times, including sound and timely risk analysis and deal structuring
- Develop and coach talent
Performance objectives for this role reward planned and advice-based credit solutions for moderately complex Commercial relationships (underwriting credit applications and/or preparing and supporting credit applications for clients with annual sales less than $75MM). You are responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer experience, cross sell, credit underwriting and compliance, revenue growth and employee development, coaching and satisfaction. You have a passion for understanding clients’ businesses and proactively identify needs through activities such as face-to-face calls.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Advanced credit skills and significant credit experience
- Exceptional risk assessment and analysis skills, including Moody’s Financial Analysis
- Superior accounting and financial analysis skills
- Outstanding deal structuring skills
- Excellent coaching & leadership skills
- Advanced ability to articulate strategies, build solid business cases, rational and justification for deal
- Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Commercial Banking marketplace
- In depth knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies, practices & procedures
- 2 – 5 years of commercial banking experience
- Undergraduate degree in business or economics or equivalent work experience
- Ideally some Agriculture background
