Our client is a well-established luxury goods, global retailer with a strong presence in Canada undergoing continued growth. The focus of this Senior Finance Manager role, reporting directly to the CFO, is on business partnering, financial planning & analysis and management reporting. Working closely with the retail stores, the corporate business unit leaders and the local and international executives; you will have an opportunity to directly impact their business decisions. Support sales and merchandising with exceptional reporting, creating dashboards identifying key performance metrics. Take a key leadership role in inventory management, coordinating and controlling schedules and communication.

Participate in the budgeting & forecasting processes, short- and long-term strategic planning. Drive communication and lead the implementation of the internal control plan, working closely with the stores directly. Update and implement policies, procedures and best practices, communicating at all levels of the organization. Participate in various ad hoc and exciting projects.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:

• CPA designation required
• Background in external audit at the start of your career preferred, with a move into industry in a finance manager or related fp&a role
• Solid grasp of business and operations finance, providing management reporting and decision support through performance metrics, KPIs and dashboards
• Solid Excel skills, SAP preferred but flexible to any large ERP system
• Experience from a B2C industry an asset; retail, CPG, eCommerce ideal
• Hands-on, roll up your sleeves and “can-do” attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required to work cross functionally and at all levels in the organization
