This position plays a key role providing financial support to the CAO Finance team in the process and efficiencies, projects, and analytics areas. The successful candidate will contribute to the Finance team’s ability to provide Data Driven Insights to the business and aid with the achievement of financial targets.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in investigative tasks to identify root cause of issues

Provide analytical support and insights to enable users to make sound business decisions

Build reports from data obtained from different sources

Work with business partners to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness along with support tracking of results.

Variance analysis on results and identification of trends

Provide financial support in development and validation of business cases

Projects and analysis

Develop Automated processes to drive efficiency for business partners.

Assist with Weekly, Periodic or Quarterly business processes.

What You’ll Need:

Ideal candidate would be pursuing a post-Secondary education in Business or related field, or equivalent related experience

Advanced skills in Microsoft -Excel (look-ups/Macros etc.)

Experience in a corporate retail environment ideal

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Knowledge and experience in SQL/SAS, data-mining and business intelligence (BI) tools such as MicroStrategy, Teradata, Power BI, and SAP would be an asset
