Job description: Our valued public sector client is in need of a Part-Time Senior Information Technology Security Engineer to identify technical threats and vulnerabilities of networks to support the implementation of a new IM/IT digital strategy.
Project Description:
The mandate of this organization is to support the collection, access and disclosure of information to assist in the detection, prevention and deterrence of money laundering and terrorist financing. This project is supporting a IM/IT strategic plan to implement a new IM/IT Digital Strategy to upgrade and enhance business processes and applications across the organization. The resource will be responsible for identifying threats and vulnerabilities by implementing new firewalls and security guidelines within the network.
Tasks Preformed:
- Identify the technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, networks;
- Experience providing support on IM/IT Security projects within the following areas:
- Network Security Review
- Implementation of security guardrails and firewall configuration
- Developing IMIT Cyber security guidelines.
- Support the IT Security configuration;
- Support the analysis IT Security tools and techniques;
- Analyze the security data and provide advisories and reports;
- Technical writing and preparing procedural documentation, R&D on IT Security tools and techniques
Specialization and Skills: Cyber Security Security Engineer 8 – 10 years
Priority Requirements: Please confirm you have 10 years of identifying technical threats and vulnerabilities of networks. (Must-have)
