The global retail development area is witnessing a surge in demand for innovative digital solutions.
Right now we are looking for a senior IT-architect focused on solutions for marketing, e-commerce, sales support tools and more. You will be an important member of the information management and enterprise architecture team in digital and IT and cooperate with stakeholders both within and outside the company.

Opportunity description:

You will have a vital role in designing and implementing solutions enabling our retail development thus creating value both within and outside of the company.

Cooperate with partners within and outside of Volvo to lead the IT-architecture work and integrate cloud-platforms and information flow for our platforms and solutions.

Work closely with the head of retail development, the enterprise architect for sales and the IT delivery teams in all part of the life cycle together with business stakeholders, e.g. innovation – development – runtime.

Collaborate with architects with other focus areas to find solutions that works well together balancing many quality attributes within and across solutions.

Actively lead the target architecture work for the retail area as part of the overall Sales and Volvo CE target architecture.

Mindset and Competence:

• Passionate about IT-architecture enabling retail with digital channels, capability to cooperate with customers in new ways and how to balance technology and business needs.
• You have deep knowledge in technologies we are targeting such as Salesforce marketing cloud, Salesforce experience cloud, Sitecore and inRiver.
• Many years of experience from IT architecture and solution development based on cloud platforms (e.g. Salesforce, AWS, Azure) and experience of a hybrid setup with multi-cloud and on-premise.
• You have experience from working with IT solutions supporting the retail business based on information from multiple sources and multiple integration frameworks to integrate data from e.g. connected devices, PLM, ERP, CRM and other internal and external IT-systems.
• You have a good understanding of design patterns and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of Agile.
• You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes.
• You have experience working in a global environment.
• You have demonstrated a growth and learning mindset.
