Job description: Senior IT Project Manager

Duration: 12 months

Location: Remote -Waterloo/Toronto, with occasional site visits

This is for a new initiative to enhance our client’s office conference rooms with new audio/video technology for better team collaboration

The Senior IT PM will be responsible for planning/scheduling, executing/coordinating the deployment of the new collaboration technology while managing various work sub-streams, e.g., Canadian Real Estate – CRE (furniture, cabling, electrical changes) , various IT towers (network, audio-video, telephony), and vendor(s).

Responsibilities: * Planning the overall project, scheduling the room upgrade/deployments and monitoring the progress

• Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
• Managing stakeholder communications & managing and reporting on the program’s budget. Excellent communication; both written and verbal, plus presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Managing, acquiring needed resources from various IT towers (network, security, ICT, CRE, vendors, …)

Required Skills:

Extensive project management in IT space – 10+ years

Significant experience in infrastructure (network, telephony, audio/video).

Nice to Have: * Exposure to real estate projects i.e. deploying the technology to office spaces.
