Job description: What is the opportunity?

As a Specialist in Technology & Operations Infrastructure ServiceNow CoE, you will establish and manage a scalable delivery model for digital workflows for all partner delivery teams. You be a leader that concentrates internal expertise in strategy, architecture, support, design, and development to accelerate the velocity of the development pipeline. While enabling partner delivery is critical to scaling the value stream of the ServiceNow platform within RBC you will ensure delivery teams are consistently aligned with the organizations strategic goals and platform standards to maximize value and avoid technical debt or risk.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow Management Team to identify and deliver on opportunities to improve integration and streamline processes across the COE to improve partner engagement and be an advocate within the Enterprise for the ServiceNow platform
  • Create a standardized framework which enables the COE to set and oversee policies and processes that guard against technical risks such as ungoverned customization
  • Improve the scale and velocity of platform development by championing the Partner Development Program; provide coaching and guidance to help stakeholders find opportunities to improve efficiency in service delivery
  • Implement and maintain a collaboration model with partner development teams to foster knowledge sharing and innovation across the ServiceNow development community where they consistently provided high quality and reliable code
  • Interact with partners to understand their business processes and strategic objectives in order to define/recommend digital solutions which meet those objectives
  • Primary interface with for the platform team to on board, groom and govern partner development teams
  • Define training programs consisting of internal and vendor provided training for partners who want to develop in the platform; establish and maintain partner quality and governance standards
  • Inform decision making related to prioritization of work to accommodate evolving business priorities and changing needs; assist the platform leadership team in discovering new opportunities for innovation; in addition to managing the CoE, you will be expected to occasionally be hands on in development and testing of enhancements, patches and upgrades

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Degree or Diploma in IT related discipline or equivalent related experience
  • 5+ years working with software development teams as a manager, developer, business analyst or tester and including the following:
  • Comprehensive experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Honed ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience working on an agile software development team
  • Experience working with outside vendors
  • Experience creating and maintaining performance measurement metrics, KPIs and dashboards
  • Experience conducting data analysis as a foundation to providing meaningful insights and reporting that facilitates management of day to day operations and informs strategic decisions at a senior management level
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with evolving business goals
  • Organization and self-management to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to influence teams and individuals not directly under the leader’s control
  • ITIL Foundations Certified

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Organizational Change Management concepts
  • Experience as a scrum master or Kanban facilitator
  • Experience with UX/UI design
  • ITIL expert or managing professional
