My client, a reputable company in the logistics and warehouse space, is looking for a Senior Logistics Business Development Executive to join their team in Greater Vancouver Area. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for working with the strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’ s overall sales objectives, as well as building and maintaining long-term, positive relationships with customers and clients. The ideal candidate for this role must have excellent interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking abilities, and a track record of driving revenue within the logistics industry.

What the Senior Logistics Business Development Executive does:

• Work with the strategic sales plan in alignment with sales objectives
• Identifies prospective business opportunities and maintains positive relationships with existing clients
• Relays useful customer feedback to the Operations and Transportation teams to enhance processes and services
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’ s services to better assist clients
• Completes daily reporting to track client interactions and sales goals and targets

What is expected of you:

• 5+ years of experience in sales and business development
• Education in supply chain and logistics an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
