Who Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum 7 years in finance, consulting, VC/PE, or similar startup positions
  • A CPA designation is desirable
  • Prior experience working with senior executives for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent written communication and the ability to create executive/board level reports and presentations as well as financial statements company management reports and MD&A.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends, establish benchmarks and provide credible analysis and business recommendations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to create integrated plans, influence outcomes and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with Revenue, Treasury, Cash, Debt and Financial Management.
  • High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at once
  • Incredibly autonomous, driven, self-motivated, and strong problem-solving skills
  • High level of Excel PowerPoint proficiency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following role & responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely completion of all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking.
  • Functional responsibility for all global finance and accounting operations, including oversight of financial reporting, ownership of financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and management of billing and expense operations.
  • Direct and review all financial reporting (internal and external), to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Cooperate with external accounting, tax, and legal teams across a variety of geographies
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting against budget to the Executive Team, in the form of quarterly financial statements and MD&A, including detailed analysis in supplementary financial packages and regular forecasting updates
  • Manage planning activities to achieve business goals, highlight major assumptions and their effects on the budget, and perform sensitivity analysis to assess a reasonable range of outcomes and risks
  • Partner with all business units to provide analytical support to drive ROI and align their KPI’s with inputs in the financial model to ensure achievement of business objectives
  • Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
  • Review and ensure accuracy of variance analysis, management reports and financial statements on a period, quarterly and annual basis
  • Prepare clear financial models with a focus on flexibility to change assumptions and scalability of outputs
