This position will report into the Senior Director, PTP & OTC.

This position is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada or Calgary, Alberta, Canada or Loveland, Colorado, U.S.A. or Northbrook, Illinois, U.S.A. and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

  • Oversee governance and proactive development and enhancement of the end-to-end PTP process across the enterprise
  • Lead a team and collaborate with process stakeholders and peer process owners to ensure effective and efficient process operations and identification and leverage of cross-process synergies
  • Monitor process performance and prioritizes and drives process-related investment decisions and implementation
  • Ensure process compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures
  • Establish end-to-end process vision and develop process roadmap
  • Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for end-to-end process across the operating model
  • Lead the execution of a global strategy for an end-to-end process including associated policies and technologies
  • Monitor end-to-end process performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity
  • Work in conjunction with the governance team to provide ongoing guidance for process adoption and business demand, participating in governance management boards to provide input on items such as process scope, service delivery, and resolving operational issues
  • Participate in GPO Community of Practice to share leading practices and leverage cross-process opportunities
  • Prioritize and secure funding for process improvement opportunities
  • Support Finance Transformation and Ad Hoc projects as required
  • Work in conjunction with the performance management team to develop and operationalize applicable reporting and analytics to measure the efficacy and efficiency of assigned end-to-end process
  • Create a prioritized pipeline of process related improvements and opportunities, determining which opportunities to pursue with a focus on reducing process costs, increasing efficiency, and maximizing investment returns
  • Build business cases to quantify the cost and value of process opportunities and advocate for funding as necessary
  • Drive global deployment and adoption of process improvements, taking into consideration regional and local customization requirements
  • Promote process-oriented culture which monitors and meets the needs of the business through process excellence and improvement
  • Collaborate with corporate functions, data owners, stewards, and peers to ensure consistency and alignment across policy, process, and data

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management or related field
  • 10 years’ experience in finance or related business function, with preferred experience in Accounts Payable/Procure to Pay
  • 4-5 years’ experience managing a team of employees or contractors
  • Apply effective people leadership skills leading a team through performance management, career development, and budget management
  • Provides support and feedback to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team.
  • Coaches members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results
  • Setting clear team goals and evaluating progress along the way allows teams to work collaboratively
  • Experience/ability to identify issues, find appropriate solutions, and engage appropriate resources at any level
  • Experience/ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Extreme attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range $96,600 – $138,000 Midpoint. This range is estimated for Senior Manager, Global Process Owner – Procure to Pay (PTP) in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
