Position Overview & Responsibilities:

As a member of a the Brand & Digital team in a newly developed area of business, the Senior Market Intelligence Manager will play an integral role, by designing and launching meaningful research initiatives from the ground up. This role will:

  • Create and refine the research strategy (i.e. tracking, proprietary, syndicated measures) to deliver actionable insights and represent voice of customer at TELUS Agriculture. This will include market landscape studies, building customer feedback funnels (L2R & NPS), onboarding and insights programs and, market intelligence studies
  • Be a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership to drive customer experience and innovation by continuously enhancing insights and ensuring the right data is with the right stakeholders
  • Look for and understand emerging customer experiences, trends and competitive information
  • Understand marketing disciplines and build partnerships across business and partners, including brand and planning

Qualifications

Previous Experience / Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Marketing Research experience, supplier-side preferred
  • Experience leading and designing customer measurement programs (including NPS, CSAT, Transactional, U&A, Benchmarking, etc.)
  • Quantitative and qualitative research experience, working knowledge of panel software a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies based on insights
  • Experience influencing decision making across diverse business teams, along with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
  • Must be comfortable with autonomy and able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects with extreme attention to detail and organisation skills. Projects must be delivered on time and within budget
  • Familiarity with text analytics, statistical modeling software such as SPSS, visual analytics software such as Tableau, big data tools and cloud environments (e.g., Python, AWS) is a plus
  • Ability to gather and analyse a variety of data points (qualitative and quantitative) to surface the most relevant insights for the business
  • A collaborator who can work cross-functionally – role requires substantial relationship management both internal and external to the business unit
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to balance customer experience expectations with business needs. Ability to simplify complex issues and proven track record of developing highly effective executive communications
  • Experience with research proposals, selection and management of vendors
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing
