Job description: Our valued public sector client is in need of a Part-Time Senior Network Analyst to detect network problem analysis within an Windows/Linux environment to support the implementation of a new IM/IT Digital Strategy.
Project Description:
The mandate of this organization is to support the collection, access and disclosure of information to assist in the detection, prevention and deterrence of money laundering and terrorist financing. This project is supporting a IM/IT strategic plan to implement a new IMIT Digital Strategy to upgrade and enhance business processes and applications across the organization. The resource will be responsible for completing operational issues for network support, network analysis, network management within a Windows and Linux environment.
Tasks Preformed:
- Performing a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks, monitoring network management systems and responding appropriately to user requests and problems;
- Working closely with Service Desk to action triaged work items;
- Experience supporting operational issues within:
- Network support
- Help desk support
- IT operational support (upgrades, patching releases)
- Technical writing and preparing procedural documentation, R&D and problem resolution findings and related material;
- Using and customizing system monitoring products in a multi-disciplinary (Windows and Linux/UNIX based) setting;
- Supporting virtualization technology;
