Yelp is looking for an experienced Product Manager to help build & optimize its state-of-the-art Commerce platform – specifically Promotion incentives and new product monetization for Advertising Billing. In this role, you’ll own and define the promotion platform that processes over $1B in annual revenue from Yelp’s 500,000+ advertisers. This is a highly cross-functional role where you’ll keep close communication across Yelp’s executive team, collaborate with Product & Engineering Leaders, Marketing Managers, Customer Success, Finance partners and more to ultimately help create a vision for promotion incentives at Yelp.

What you’ll do:

  • Define the promotion platform roadmap based on your extensive knowledge of the subscription landscape, advertising billing, customer pain points and specific business needs.
  • Be responsible for launching new promotion incentives, new monetization methods, and working with tech leads to come up with the vision of the future of the platform systems.
  • Lead the team in building a world class subscription and promotion system that makes it easy to run promotional campaigns for years to come.
  • Team up with Product & Engineering Leaders, Marketing Managers, Customer Success, Finance partners and more to hone and iterate on your ideas.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Experience in leading, scaling and optimizing a growing advertising or subscription platform

Ability to comfortably analyze large data sets and ask the right data questions in order to hone your ideas and deliver features which have a high degree of ambiguity. * Excitement to translate users’ needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and an understanding of the subscription or promotion landscape.

  • Deep understanding of the subscription domain with a passion for technology; you’re not just concerned about what we build, but how we build it.
  • Ability to dive deep with engineers to make technical tradeoff decisions and summarize it all for non-technical stakeholders and executives.
