Position Description:

The IT Network & Security Team is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Senior Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will drive the strategy and execution of a large Security program across IT. The candidate will be accountable to work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to drive the teams to meet our Security objectives. We require a highly motivated individual who thrives in an exciting and constantly changing environment.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Lead the strategy build & execution of a multi-year program to drive security controls across IT assets.
  • Negotiate and confirm program scope with key stakeholders and track our key performance indicators to meet our business objectives.
  • Assist in project planning and costing for multi-year strategic plan, support all PEATS and finance project delivery obligations following IT practices.
  • Lead regular sessions with key primes to drive the teams to meet program objectives.
  • Identify/raise project issues and gaps and drive the resolution across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet cross function teams & project objectives.
  • Ability to project manage delivery and or security projects.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • At least 5 years previous experience as a Delivery and or Security Project Manager
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering and executing on key projects through cross functional teams
  • Proficient in Project Management methodology
  • Sound business acumen
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
  • Strong people/team leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels across the organization and across departments within our organization
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong strategic and analytical/conceptual skills
  • Ability to identify dependencies/interdependencies
  • Ability to work in a fluid team environment & managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change
  • Project Finance, Budget (Knowledge of SAP) and Governance Processes (PEATS/IPC/ICEC)
  • College certificate or University degree (business, computer science)
  • Project Management Certifications and or work experience equivalents

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in virtual teams, handling multiple projects with geographically dispersed team members.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends, evenings and nights, to meet hard deadlines and deployment activities.
  • Fast paced, changing working environment.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
