Work with internal/external stakeholders and resources to align with and support expected Connect Care Program outcomes. Work with high level business and IT stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements to ensure outcomes that contribute to expectations and deliver benefits in a cost effective manner. Manage/collaborate on the creation of program level initiatives, best practices and team efficiency. May manage full project life cycle from initiation to close which includes clear outcomes for each phase with strong focus on communication, engagement, change management and training. Have an understanding of methods and tactics for Project/Program monitoring and controls. Provide PM/BA coaching and mentoring to the project team, sponsors, business leads, and subject matter experts. May investigate and determine root cause of problems, and provide solutions in a timely and forthright manner. Facilitate the understanding of Connect Care Program needs, represent AHS’ interests with complex and sophisticated province-wide external stakeholders, many of which have political sensitivities that must be fully understood and managed effectively. May contribute to Change Management and Connect Care Program Controls Office Change Control Process. Report to multiple corporate committees. Plan workflow analysis with zone and site representation, and CIS departments. Define deliverables, resource requirements; coordinate and be accountable for the development of project charters, create plans, processes and tools for change management and risk mitigation, integrated planning that relate to program controls. Monitor the project/program progress against standards, timelines, plans, budget, identifying and resolving issues affecting completion of the program. Lead/facilitate meetings. May conduct post implementation review and closure of project according to AHS processes.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent plus completion of a project management designation and a minimum of 7 years of related experience in a project management capacity. Deep knowledge of project management principles, project management tools and methodologies, and project governance concepts. Experience leading large sized project teams. Expertise with MS Project, MS Office suite, and Visio.
Additional Required Qualifications:
A solid understanding of business analysis processes and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certificate in Project Management or Project Management Institution (PMI) will be considered an asset. PROSCI certification would be an asset. Business Analysis training/certification will be considered an asset. Experience working in a complex matrix organization. Healthcare IT knowledge and experience preferred. Experience in public sector/government organizations preferred.
