Job description: Senior Project Specialist- Supply Chain (12-month contract)

As a senior project specialist-supply chain, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of various projects while partnering with other teams and vendors.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. This role requires the successful candidate to be located in British Columbia.

What you will do:

• Manage projects from planning through delivery
• Collaborates with diverse teams and stakeholders to align project goals and ensure quality
• Uses appropriate tools to plan project structure, timelines, tasks, resources, milestones, and deadlines
• Lead medium to large-scale transformational projects to completion.
• Gathers business requirements to enable the strategy roadmap for supply chain
• Provide leadership updates on project risk assessments and mitigation plans
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to projects and adjusts allocations when necessary
• Tracks key decisions and evaluates their impact of decisions on the project compared to alternatives
• Plans, facilitates, and leads cross-department discussions across all levels of leadership and ensures collaboration and alignment to goals, methods, and status.
• Presents and influences Sr. leaders on transformational and continuous improvement opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years of experience in vendor relation and logistics
• PMP certification is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
