Gone are the days of platform specific Quality Assurance Analysts. We are looking for passionate Full Stack Senior QA Analysts to lead automation within the team. You know and understand Front-End, Back-End, iOS, Android, Analytics, CRM, BI, Finance, Legal, Agile, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr and the list goes on. You are customer obsessed and do not consider something complete until every ‘t’ is crossed and every ‘i’ is dotted. What you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate a passion for quality and for automation
  • Lead automation projects, with strong knowledge of Selenium and Apium
  • Able to jump right in and pick up our processes with little need for assistance
  • Act as a quality resource embedded within an agile development team
  • Learn new products quickly
  • Be a subject matter expert and ensure quality software is delivered within tight timelines
  • Write and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing of all platforms
  • Document and prioritize test cases
  • Display ownership of entire product lines quality characteristics
  • Find important defects quickly and follow through to test resolutions
  • File defect reports based on test results of both manual and automated tests
  • Work with stakeholders to determine expectations of a particular feature in an efficient manner
  • Act as third tier support for production issues
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, regularly using our suite of products, sharing the brand with friends and family, and providing feedback to the team for improvements

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, and at least 4 recent years in automation using Selenium and Apium
  • Minimum 6 years of hands on QA experience on different platforms including API, Web and Mobile applications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in leading multiple projects or multiple applications.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, reporting status to higher management, creating defect reports with resolutions and test metrics
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and procedures
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines
  • Experience in STLC and Defect Life Cycle
  • The candidate must have a certain level of business acumen coupled with technical knowledge
  • Experience working with Test automation tools (Knowledge of Selenium with Ruby as scripting language) is a plus
  • Proficiency in analyzing business and functional documents, identifying and defining project scope, understand technical specifications and setup test environment, set clear goals and expectations, manage multiple priorities, prioritize activities, facilitate the collection of technical, operational or business requirements, set milestones and follow through to successful completion
