Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario in good standing
• 10-15 years progressive experience in civil engineering design
• Experience with utility relocation and coordination is an asset
• Strong written and communication skills
• Confident and positive attitude
• Ability to build and harbour good working relationships with our business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation Inroads

Job Description

Mott MacDonald Canada is currently involved in several major infrastructure projects and are currently seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work for clients such as the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, Metrolinx, and other major infrastructure entities.

Responsibilities:

• Engage as part of large multidisciplinary teams and review design documents for consistency and coordination
• Infrastructure design including roadways, active transportation, site grading and drainage
• Develop roadway designs according to TAC Standards and municipal standards
• Deliver packages of work as Engineer-of-Record with the assistance of other technical and production staff
• Provide oversight and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff undertaking technical design work
• Assist in the proposal process as required
• Develop technical libraries and support digital innovations within the organization
