About the Opportunity

Currently, I & J Metal has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Estimator to join our team in Abbotsford, BC on a full-time basis.

As our new Senior Sales Estimator, you will carry out a range of responsibilities while you work to ensure that our bids are both accurate and competitive.

Some of your key responsibilities within this role will include:

• Filtering through open opportunities that require a quote and prioritizing them.
• Carrying out site visits and gathering required information for quoting.
• Ordering material while always accounting for the lead time.
• Reviewing plans and making sure that everything is on schedule.
• Working alongside the accounting department in order to assist with monthly bills.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need previous experience working within the metal industry or within a shop environment. Candidates with Welding or Fabricating experience will excel within this role.
