The position may require travel to the campsite in the Sunshine Coast (approximately 10% of the time). Please note that candidates must have an eligible work permit for Canada.

Take your ambitions to the next level
As Senior Strategy Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to provide leadership for your project workstream with a focus on innovation and sustainability while ensuring financial governance and control for a large, complex and strategically important project. You will partner with cross-functional and cross-business unit teams to define, prioritize and bring to life numerous pilots to test technologies in areas of renewable energy, security and automation, agriculture, health and telecom infrastructure to be integrated into the program holistically and in an economically viable way.
- Showcase and promote opportunities for proof of concept areas available to various internal teams;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design the research component of the program using our technology by integrating a living lab / proof of concept experience;
- Build and maintain the integrated roadmap for all innovation and sustainability initiatives within the program considering cost, resources, impact and urgency to bring the most value possible;
- Provide governance and financial control for pilots within the program while ensuring budgets are allocated correctly internally;
- Proactively develop research funding opportunities by demonstrating benefits with potential partnerships;
- Lead planning initiatives that translate program strategy into action by working with cross-functional colleagues to inform and influence their decision making;
- Assess technology pilot results by analyzing data and applying business knowledge to derive recommendations for potential development of tested technology in the consumer space;
- Manage and balance multiple business unit and senior leadership requirements to meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment;
- Build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders groups with whom you will have significant influence;
- Confidently and clearly express complex ideas, concepts and thoughts to senior leadership through impactful presentations and storytelling.

Does this sound like you?
- 3 years of experience as a Senior Strategy Manager;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology Management, Engineering or a related area;
- MBA, CPA or equivalent work experience is a plus;
- Tech savvy with an entrepreneurial spirit and innovation mindset that embraces critical questioning and continuous improvement;
- Outstanding ability to integrate innovation and sustainability in a programmatic way;
- Strong business insight and ability to identify new opportunities and connect the dots between related projects and programs;
- Experience assessing technological trends and environmental impacts, and creatively find solutions to address business problems;
- Solid business and financial acumen with the ability to provide oversight to assigned budgets and ensure accurate financial allocation;
- Excellent analytical/business modelling skills and enjoy taking on complex challenges;
- Experience or education in sustainability;
