Position Summary

Canada’s first Gordon Ramsay Burger is well underway at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, and we’re on the lookout for our next Servers, Gordon Ramsay Burger. Our next Servers, Gordon Ramsay Burger, will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, and providing a signature standard of unrivaled experiences and exceptional hospitality to our guests. Key Accountabilities

· Providing a signature standard of unrivaled guest experience for each and every one of our guests by taking orders, preparing drinks, greeting them by name and ensuring ultimate satisfaction

· Assisting other servers as necessary

· Clearing tables, removing glasses and re-stocking if required

· Taking guest orders and making recommendations

· Handling payments by credit card, debit cards and cash

· Entering transactions into the Squirrel (Point of Sales system)

· Informing guests of any daily specials

· Explaining how menu items and beverages are prepared

· Presenting bills upon request and taking payments

· Ensuring food is expedited in a timely manner

· Restocking and replenishing areas as required

· Covering other sections if required

· Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments

· Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

· Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

· Legendary guest service skills with a “Make it Happen” attitude

· Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests

· A passion for providing exceptional service to our internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence

· General knowledge of alcoholic beverages

· Previous serving experience a strong asset

· Serving It Right, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification

· The ability to stand for long periods of time

· Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

· Excellent multi-tasking skills

· The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)

Work Environment Considerations

• Regular casino, restaurant or bar environment, standing and walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
