About our client
An established ICI General Contractor in Toronto delivering projects from $500,000 – $40,000,000. They have carved out a niche for themselves in the Institutional space and have been delivering projects for close to 40 years. They have loyal staff who are currently retiring and are looking to build up their roster.

About the role
Joining the team as a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day to day construction activities on a high rise project which includes:

• Assuring projects are completed according to design and specifications meeting deadlines and budgets
• Ensure health & safety on site
• Creating progress reports throughout the project for key stakeholders
• Communicating with site staff and creating schedules
• Coordinating all relevant inspections

Location
Greater Toronto Area (Oshawa-Barrie-Pickering-Scarborough)

Salary
From $110,000-$150,000 (Based on experience) plus vehicle allowance & benefits

Qualifications
At least 10 years experience working in the ICI environment as a Site Superintendent with preference on Institutional projects such as schools, universities & hospitals. Strong experience in scheduling is required, as is supervising trades, evaluating labor requirements, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and problem solve to ensure deadlines are met and production continues. You’d also ideally have experience on both renovation & new build projects. You would also ideally have a strong understanding of the construction process in the province of Ontario.
