Department Overview

An exciting opportunity exists to join the TS Financial Crimes and Fraud Management Group. We are committed to the ongoing support of applications for the FC & FMG group and the delivery of new initiatives supporting Fraud group as well as liaising with a number of third party vendors.

Job Description

• Act as Senior Technical Lead during the design, development and Implementation of Pega BPM application changes for multiple technology projects
• Provide technical leadership, direction and mentorship to a team of IT professionals including Project Managers, Software developers, Business analysts and other project stakeholders
• Consult on all aspects of research, analysis, design, and development of technical solutions including work effort and cost estimation
• Demonstrate strong communications skills (written & verbal), proven ability to effectively interact with individuals across business units and at various levels within the Bank (technical, business)
• Participate in technical recommendations and decision making with other technical teams, architects, and business partners
• Produce and/or assist with the production of various Agile deliverables
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, ensuring that they are managed appropriately
• Build consensus and relationships with project team and Business, through use of superior negotiation skills

Requirements

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Pega Frameworks, including PRPC, Smart Dispute versions 7.4 and above
• BIX versions 7.4 and above
• Solid understanding of Pega Tools – Tracer and SMA for debugging, PAL for performance analysis and Preflight to check application Guardrails Compliance
• Pega PRPC Integration Services (File, JMS, API)
• Filenet, Kofax knowledge an asset
• DBMS knowledge in Oracle, SQL scripting
• Autosys, TIBCO, MQ – familiarity
• Strong leadership, research, problem solving and analytical skills

• Mature individual who can work independently and contribute to a positive work environment on the project team

Education and Accreditations:

• College Diploma or University degree in Computer Science
• Pega CSA certification
• 7+ yrs working experience developing server-based applications and web services
