Working with one of our leading public sector clients, this is an exciting opportunity for a Specialized IT Consultant – Senior who will embrace modern, sustainable digital service delivery for businesses to operate in a COVID and post-COVID world. The ideal candidate will support the need for a flexible workforce that works from home effectively. The individual will be responsible for translating business requirements and technical system specifications into working, tested EIM functionality. This will involve performing analysis and design based on requirements, developing and configuring the OpenText Content Suite Platform, and unit testing.

Responsibilities:

• Offer services digitally and easier to use while moving away from in-person and paper-based transactions, helping to reduce costs
• Realize cost efficiencies, increase value for money and reduce fiscal risk while meeting the needs of people and businesses in Ontario
• Secure documents and lower the amount of lost data
• Make it easier for people and businesses to get the services they need
• Increases interoperability across services
• Modernize technology platforms for government service delivery
• Enable data sharing across government and the broader public sector to improve digital service delivery
• Transform back office government processes to be more efficient
• Enable integration of data across different levels of government

Desired Skill-Set:

• 10+ years of technical experience with electronic records and document management systems, namely the OpenText Content Suite platform
• 10+ years experience developing OpenText Script, Web reports, SQL, and Web report triggers
• 10+ years experience with OpenText workflow design and deployment
• 10+ years experience Configuration of Content Server and other OpenText Content Suite platform components (e.g. Pulse, notifications, etc.)
• Development of efficient LiveReports on large data sets
• Experience performing CIS Modelling
• Familiarity with Enterprise Connect and Enterprise Scan products
• Proven ability to own delivery of application functionality from requirements through to design and build while engaging in stakeholder consultation
• Demonstrated ability to execute in a project utilizing a highly collaborative agile project methodology
• Proven ability to liaise with IT leads and work closely with support team members and relevant stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to define, identify and describe requirements with clients
• Experience with I&IT standards and best practices facilitating control of systems quality, adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of I&IT resources

Nice to Have:

• Able to define, identify and describe information architectural requirements with clients, and obtain I&IT management approval
• Demonstrated experience assessing existing enterprise information management (EIM) services to improve efficiency and performance
• Promote I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of I&IT resources
