Job title: Sr. Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities

– Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

– Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

– Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

– Partake in various department-wide initiatives

– Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

– Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

– Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

– Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

– Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

– SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

– Strong communication and social skills

– Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

– Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

– Skilled at time management

– 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

– Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

– Proficiency in Account Records

– Comprehensive knowledge of account management

– Account maintenance experience

– Account Coding experience preferred

– Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

– Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

– Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

– Current and relevant ERP system experience

– Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
