Job description: Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety is a way of life. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Steel Processor for the Langley manufacturing team. This position will report to the Machine Shop Foreman.

What you will do:

  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
  • Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and moves parts using hand truck or dolly
  • Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools
  • Read and interpret work orders
  • Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers
  • Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices
  • Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes
  • Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset
  • Ability to operate Fork Lift, training may be provided
  • General knowledge of basic tools and equipment
