Job description: Store General Manager LONGUEUIL

Overall management of our Longueuil location, full P&L accountability for the store, full responsibility for Visual Merchandising and Brand standards, responsibility and guidance on product assortment for the store, 80%+ of time spent on floor driving sales and service with store team and customers, community reach responsibility to increase brands and product awareness and full accountability for all retail operations of the Collins store.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

(Including but not limited to)

Providing and maintaining exceptional consumer service in store
Set and achieve goals for sales, margins
Facilitate and follow-up with hiring, training, & scheduling of staff in store. Coaching as required.
Facilitate and coach as required with the daily store operations
Facilitate and measure all aspects of cash management
Daily Sales tracking & facilitate inventory management
Facilitate, coach and oversee floor merchandising as per brand standards and adapt per market needs.
Manage, facilitate and coach all loss prevention and physical inventories policies and counts.
Facilitate and lead where required the planning and organizing of promotions & events.
Management and coaching of store maintenance and standards.
Additional experience, education and/or skills:

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills – including fluency in French proven experience at management level in a specialty apparel, Safety, boutique fashion and/or outdoor retail environment; able to travel for training and product line updates; merchandising skills; able to work weekends

Asset

Proficiency in English

Strong leadership skills
