Job description: Position Objective and ScopeIn alignment with the Alliance Agri-Turf (AAT) Values, Purpose, Goals, and Strategy, the SAM will strategically and consultatively help our targeted 80:20 customers and prospects, grow the ROI of their business, achieve their goals, and thus earn their commitment to buy more from us.? The key measurable results of this job will be increased customer share, and increased profitable market share growth, which must accelerate AAT?s BHAG achievement.?Job Requirements? Self-starter, an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to succeed.? Ability to consultatively and strategically sell and market.? Demonstrated understanding of Agricultural industry and Agronomic practices.? Competence in planning and organization? University Degree, or equivalent in agriculture or related experience.? Three years of experience in a crop input business or equivalent.? Demonstration of interpersonal and communication skills is essential.? Competent reporting of accomplishments opportunities and issues.? Computer literate Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point? Ability to work independently and contribute to building team spirit.? Ability to identify opportunities and implement solutions.? Ability to accurately monitor and foresee customer needs.? Maintain CCA designation.?Duties & Responsibilities1. Strategically discovers specific customer business and production requirements to achieve their visionary goals, and implements customized value creating solutions that grows their ROI, accelerates their goal achievement, and earns us the right to gain their long-term commitment to purchase our products, and services.2. Consultatively works with customers to create value for their farming operation in terms of their purchase of the right solutions to do the job, given their management practice and crop planning objectives.3. Increases our sales, profits, and market share, while maintaining current margin.4. Develops annual sales action plans by September 15 that targets our Strategic and Progressive 80:20 customers and prospects, to achieve our annual growth targets, including customer share and retention.5. Supports Customer Service by clearly communicating solutions sold, in a timely manner, with accurate location and other data/information so that customer fulfillment can be executed with excellence, to enable improved customer satisfaction.6. Is available to customers 24/7 and uses appropriate face to face, voice to voice, or written communication, given the type of customer problem or opportunity to be solved or realized.7. Identifies and communicates to the team, potential new processes or business ideas that will contribute to AAT?s long-term goal achievement.?Expected Behaviors?
