Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICI Superintendent to join a dynamic team in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. As a key member of the construction management team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing projects valued at up to $20M+.

• Direct reporting to the Field Operations Manager, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Comprehensive oversight and leadership for safety and environmental programs, prioritizing the well-being of our team and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborative partnership with the Project Manager to monitor job costing, forecasting, and productivity, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
• Diligent oversight of quality control and assurance processes to uphold our commitment to excellence.
• Efficient organization and coordination of all subcontractor activities, fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Implementation and monitoring of construction plans, including scheduling, logistics, and proactive two-week lookahead strategies.
• Timely completion of field administration tasks, including timesheets, procurement, daily logs, and regular inspections.
• Strategic coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment resources to optimize project efficiency.
• Act as the primary on-site liaison with clients and their consultants, fostering positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborative teamwork with the Project Manager across all project aspects to achieve project goals effectively.
• Flexible availability for travel to job sites within southwestern Ontario as required.
• Completion of other duties as assigned to support project success.

Competitive base + bonus|Vehicle allowance

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICI construction superintendent, demonstrating strong leadership skills and project management expertise.
• Proven experience supervising and organizing large crews of 50+ workers, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Certification in COR (Certificate of Recognition) Health & Safety is an asset, showcasing a commitment to safety excellence.
• Relevant diploma or degree in construction management or a related field, providing a solid foundation for success.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project, enabling effective communication and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret Microsoft Project Schedules, facilitating proactive project planning and execution.
• Demonstrated knowledge and track record in health and safety protocols, with certifications in First Aid, CPR, Working at Heights, and Basics of Supervision Training.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ensuring reliable transportation to job sites.
